Ghanaian songs and percussion rhythms

As part of our inquiry journey into chocolate production in Ghana, Room 9 also explored Ghanaian songs and percussion rhythms.
Here we are learning learning how to play three typical rhythms of traditional Ghanaian music on untuned percussion instruments.

We then combined all three to play in unison.

We also learned to sing two Ghanaian call and response songs, which we performed at our end of term assembly.
